We Earn Commissions
The Deal Edit is a participant in affiliate marketing programs, primarily through Howl ClickMate, and in some cases through Mavely for merchants Howl does not cover. When you click a "Shop This Deal" button and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer — at no additional cost to you. Prices you pay are the same whether or not you click through a link on this Site.
How This Affects What We Publish
Deals are selected and scored based on how deep and genuine the discount is — compared against real price history, not a retailer's claimed list price — never based on commission rate. Whether a deal earns us a commission has no bearing on whether it's published, how it's scored, or how it's described.
Identifying Affiliate Links
Every outbound "Shop This Deal" link on the Site carries a disclosure directly beneath it. All such links route through our own redirect (thedealedit.com/go/...) before continuing to the retailer or affiliate network.
